George H. Clark

The following collection of postcards and photographs relate to Lance Corporal George H. Clark of the 7th Battalion. Clark enlisted on 7 September 1914, after training he landed with his battalion and the 10th (Irish) Division at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli in August 1915. He was wounded the next month but continued in service for another 3 years when he was discharged on 28 September 1918 aged 25.
